About Your Therapist

Rob Granquist, MA, LPCC
Many issues that lead people to seek therapy center on aspects of our lives that lead us to feel stuck, and our inability to get unstuck by ourselves. Whether it is dealing with symptoms of known mental health concerns, or supporting others as they explore questions regarding identity, perfectionism, relationships, life goals, and self-worth, therapy with me centers on determining what your goals are, and finding ways to overcome barriers to achieve those goals. We'll work together to help you understand yourself better, through honesty and compassionate connection.
One of my strengths as a therapist is based on providing a safe and stable relationship and environment for you to build comfort and be more curious about how you feel, react, or experience different parts of your life. We'll also address any issues as they come up through proven therapeutic methods, individually considered to best meet your specific needs.
My goal as a therapist is to work myself out of a job. What I mean by that is I want to help you recognize the tools that you already have, and to help you identify additional tools to be able to cope with your presenting issues, through compassion, care, humor, and accountability. If you want a therapist who will support and challenge you, please reach out!
